Our Team
Bob La Masney is co-founder of Allusive Audio with his son Keith La Masney. Bob has been the leader in the sweetening field for over thirty years. He continues to develop software enabling further use of immersive audio for television.
Bob has been a musician all his life; his passion as a musician led to a natural progression in finding work as a music recording engineer, sound mixer for television, and as an audio systems designer of mobile television facilities. His accomplishments have been rewarded with 35 Primetime Emmy Award nominations and 13 Primetime Emmy Award wins.
Bob is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a degree in Business Management. He is happily married to his wife Cheryl, they have two adult children and a puppy Labrador Retriever named Maisie. When he’s not working he likes to spend time with his family, play guitar, golf and travel.

Keith La Masney is co-founder of Allusive Audio with his father Bob. He is a graduate of Chapman University and holds a B.S. in Business Administration with emphases in Finance and Entrepreneurship. After graduation Keith spent seven years working as a loan officer. He worked directly with small business owners and financial institutions to secure different types of financing options. He is also a California licensed realtor.
Keith’s years of classical piano training, experience with computers as well as online gaming have greatly contributed to his success as a sweetener. Keith has been exposed to sweetening his entire life, at the age of twelve he was working with his father editing sound samples. He has been trained by the best!
In his free time he enjoys watching sports, riding his motorcycle, playing golf, poker and skiing.

Cheryl La Masney is the office manager of Allusive Audio. Cheryl has been part of the company from the beginning and keeps the office running smoothly on a daily basis. Cheryl graduated from San Francisco State University and has a California teaching credential. She taught in the Los Angeles Unified School District for ten years prior to becoming a full time stay at home mom. When the kids were younger she was actively involved in their sporting events, school activities and served on the board of Malibu High School’s PTA for several years. She has racked up many hours volunteering for Meals on Wheels and fostering homeless dogs. Her hobbies include spending time with family, gardening, cooking and playing golf.
